Becoming a mom was an amazing experience that just shattered all of my old delusions and really grounded my feet and my sense of self. This is why I ADORE pregnant women. Who else on earth gets to experience the wonder (good and bad) of pregnancy?? Certainly not men ;)

Rena, as you can see, wears pregnancy like a diamond!! It was wonderful working with her and way to tempting to just sit around and rub her beautiful belly!

Kalista, Liza and Bordin

I was a little nervous about this shoot because Vita, Liza and Bogdan's mom only speaks Russian. Once I got started taking pictures, all of the jitters went away!! It helped having Anastasia translate the Russian for me :)

Madeline

Miss Madeline pushed back her nap to meet me at the park for some pictures!! Toddlers skipping nap time can be a very dangerous thing, but Madeline decided she would take it easy on me since my morning was a little rough. You know things are bad when the photographer shows up sans camera (who does that???). Thanks goodness that 1) Sonja and Madeline are both very flexible and patient and 2 ) I live really close to the park we decided to meet at!!!

The "B" word!

Not saying BABY!! was one of the fun games that the girls played at the baby shower at Christi and Kaytie's! The mommy to be looked absolutely stunning for being practically 10 months pregnant!!

These women put so much time and effort into all of the BEAUTIFUL decorations and a "to die for" spread of food !! It was a pregnant woman's dream! Can you guess the sex of the baby??

Operation: Love Reunited

Jennifer and her little girl were AWESOME to have met me at Tolmie State Park on a totally muggy day, with the tide SO far out you wouldn't have believed we were at a water front park. Thanks so much, you two, for making today's shoot so easy and thank you for being so cooperative with all of my here and there directions :)!!!

Jennifer's husband last saw this beautiful little girl when she was just a new born. He's expected to arrive home in the fall of 09'
