It's working!!!
With a little tweaking, I've figured out the whole pixel issue with my site blog. You can see my most recent session there.
I'm not going to move these pictures back over, just because of time issues, but I'll be posting there from here on out.

Jessica and Chris
Today I did my last OpLove Session. It was a short trial in something that just wasn't for me. I've always had this "from the sidelines" sort of attitude about the military. I've never been too involved with my husband's work and have never been that excited to talk shop with the other wives. (Usually because I can't keep units, jobs and names straight LOL...) I thought OpLove would be my military niche, something I could enjoy taking part in, but all to soon did I find out it was just more of the same.
Regardless, it ended in a wonderful way! Today's session with Jessica and Chris felt like I was with two old friends. It might have felt different for them, since I was the one behind the camera, but I really enjoyed the session and it was the perfect way for me to walk away from Op Love.

They were both so nice and I'm so glad we had the opprotunity to meet!
Although they have a little girl, they hadn't had pictures taken together since they were married, so it's just the two of them, which I thought was perfect! Every couple needs to remember that they were a couple before they were parents...and it's really nice when grandparents give us the opprotunity to do that ; )
I took them to my secret little spot. A little beautiful some place tucked away in Tacoma. They were both totally willing and flexible, even when I couldn't quite explain where we'd be taking pictures at.
LOOK! She has a little angel on her shoulder :)
I LOVE surprise camera flare...especially when it's that pretty!! It's ok to wonder...but the answer is no!! :) I totally didn't ps that in!! Totally not a pic I would have considered flair for.

Now here, we have some intentional flair :)
Lisa and Family
Now I have to warn you, if you start looking through these pictures and get to feeling just a tad bit insecure, don't worry, it's not just you, Lisa really is that GORGEOUS!!!!
and that is why she always has three handsome boys vying for her attention ; )
ok...I guess one really isn't a 'boy' in all correctness.....

Tori and Blake
This is the sort of session that makes me love being a photographer. It wasn't about posing or lighting...it was all about keeping up!!! :) It was pretty evident, the first few seconds we were at the park, that Tori wasn't going to sit still for anyone!! Thank goodness for image stabilization ; )
Thanks so much Deon, for the fun shoot!! My little guy was worn out and took a nice long nap when we were done!!!

4/6 Home Coming!
There have only be a few occasions where I've solicited Op Love sessions. This is one of them!
Phyllis is my husband's unit's FSRA. She's the sweetest woman you'll ever meet and completely unassuming. My husband joined his unit going on 6 months now and not ONCE have I heard her complain about her husband's 15 month long deployment!!! Oh yeah, have I mentioned that she has two children??? She's amazing and it was just such a huge honor to be apart of the redeployment ceremony!
